OPERATING PROCEDURE
Measurements are made by rolling the curvimeter’s deflector wheel along the measured lines, precisely following all the curves of the contour.
Before measuring Length, it is recommended to set the arrow to the beginning of the scale by rotating the bypass wheel in the direction of measurement; the device has a pointer for setting the device to the starting point of the measured segment.
During operation, the clamping force should be moderate and overload should not be allowed.
Curvimeters should be stored in closed, dry rooms. There should be no impurities in the air that cause corrosion.
