USSR’s Agat: The Sturdy Two-Button Mechanical Stopwatch

The Agate SOSpr-2b-2-000 mechanical measuring stopwatch is designed to measure time in minutes, seconds and fractions of a second, it is used during sports competitions, as well as in scientific research and during timing of various medical and physiotherapeutic procedures.

The 42 mm stopwatch movement, set with 16 ruby stones, has a spring motor, an anchor movement and a balance-spiral oscillating system with an oscillation period of 0.4 s. The duration of work from one complete winding is not less than 18 hours.

To control the hands, the stopwatch mechanism is equipped with a special cumulative action device. The left hands are started by pressing the crown, return to zero by pressing the button.

The stopwatch has a 60-second scale with a division price of 0.2 s and a 60-minute counter with a division price of 1 minute. The case of the stopwatch is metal, chrome-plated.
