Soviet Army Specialist Badge 2nd and 3rd Class : A Sign of Skill and Dedication

This is a Soviet Army Specialist Badge, awarded to soldiers who demonstrated outstanding proficiency in their military specialty. The badge is made of aluminum and features a red enameled star in the center. The star is surrounded by a laurel wreath.

This badge was introduced in the 1970s and was awarded until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. It was a less prestigious award than the brass badges, but it was still seen as a sign of a soldier’s dedication and skill.
