Vintage Soviet Lens for Photographic Magnifier

I23U 4.5 / 110 (Industar-23U F4.5 110mm) – a lens from a medium format photo Magnifier. Made at the Lytkarinsky plant.

Due to the fact that the lens is designed to work with a photographic enlarger, the I23U 4.5 / 110 does not have a focus ring and a filter thread. Using the I23U 4.5 / 110, you cannot focus. The lens has an M39 mount thread. I used an I23U 4.5/110 with 5cm macro rings to achieve infinity focus on a Nikon. As a primitive method of focusing, I used a slight twisting of the macro rings from each other. The lens has a 6-blade aperture, which can take F / 4.5, 5.6, 8, 11, 16.
